The Grand Staircase

Without question, the Grand Staircase inside San Francisco City Hall is what sets it apart from any other City Hall in the nation. Forty-five steps high, it connects the first and second floors. Crafted from pink Tennesse marble, you'll never find a more dramatic backdrop for your wedding portraits. The building is open to the public Monday to Friday, so you can enjoy taking pictures here from 8 am until the building closes. For two-hour events on Saturdays, you can hold your wedding ceremony on the center landing.
